Hi, I'm Abe Moss! I'm 28 years old and I'm a bit of a horror freak. Books, movies, video games--anything to disturb me in the best kind of way. I've been writing horror for as long as I can remember (seriously, since I was maybe 5 or 6 years old, encouraged and inspired largely by movies I probably shouldn't have been watching as such a wee lad) and I hope to never stop. I wrote my first (now published) novel, The Writhing, when I was 18. If I'm being honest, it was quite a mess at the time. Luckily (in my opinion) I was very unsure of myself back then, especially when it came to my writing. I held onto that first novel for an entire decade, writing a couple more in the meantime, just as unsure about them as the first. Then, in 2019, I decided it was time to finally make something of it all, or try to, at least. I took the plunge. I edited the hell out of that first novel. I believe I edited about 70k words out of it. Unbelievable. That's an entire other novel I surgically removed from that initial manuscript! I did the same for my other couple novels as well, though they were a little less unruly than the first. I hope that hard work shows in some way, shape, or form. I hope if you're reading this you've found something in my stories to enjoy, because I'm planning to write a lot more of it! As far as writing horror goes, I love creature-features, psychological horror, supernatural horror, cosmic horror, you name it. With each book I write, I hope to try something a little different. The possibilities are endless and that's what I really love about storytelling. I hope you'll enjoy my stories as well!
P.S. I'm currently hard at work finishing up my fifth novel, which I hope to have published early 2020. I'm excited to set it loose!
